Thinking about building your own DIY sawhorse storage rack? Check out this simply sawhorse storage rack I built in the garage shop!
I was tired of having my sawhorses just laying around, taking up space so I whipped together this simple sawhorse holder so I could hang them on the wall.
1) I grabbed some scrap 2x4s and cut them to the below lengths. I made the back 18″ so I could screw it into the studs.
2) I took the two 12″ lengths and cut one end at a 5 degree angle (just so there is a slight upwards tilt when they are mounted), then used my Kreg Pocket Jig to make two pockets on both insides, then attached them. Note: Make sure to make the pockets on the end with the angle.
3) I located the studs on this wall and used 3″ screws to put it in place.
: ) And that’s it. Easy peasy.
Now there will be no more of this….
