My parents had a porch swing for 40 years. This swing was my mothers favorite place to sit. When she passed away, my family gave it to me. I did not have a covered porch, so I found these plans. The plans were easy to follow and had clear instructions. with only a basic knowledge of woodworking, I was able to create a top quality frame for my swing at a fraction of the price of what I could have purchased.

Now, we have a covered swing on our patio that is super stable, looks professionally built and it is a place to relax and it would make my parents proud.
