These pins were inspired by one of my favorite projects from a few years ago when I sand casted a mini axe head out of brass door handles which I recycled from my first home (Video found here).
The idea of the mini axe as a pin fits well with who I am as a person. I learned how to swing an axe back when I was about 20 years old and have always found it relaxing and satisfying to the soul. Secondly, I tend to attack life with full force and believe in “starting now”; not tomorrow, not next week…”Chop Chop; go get after it!”
